Santa’s Grotto at Newquay Zoo

As most of the animals are on the Nice List, Santa will be taking time out from his busy Christmas schedule to take up residence in his magical grotto.

DATES: Santa will be in his magical grotto at Newquay Zoo every day from Saturday 17th to Saturday 24th of December

GROTTO TIMES: 10.45 am to 4 pm (grotto closes at 2 pm on Christmas Eve)

PRICE: £9.50*/child (up to 15 years) to include a gift

All children can enjoy our FREE reindeer food-making activity while they are at Newquay Zoo

*Grotto tickets do not include entry to Newquay Zoo, if you are NOT a Newquay Zoo member you will need to book an admission ticket for the day of your grotto booking.

The Enchanted Christmas Ball

Just 4 Kids Parties are very excited to announce the Enchanted Christmas Ball.

The grotto is based on children with additional needs in mind, but all are welcome. They just ask that all who attend to please keep this in mind.

The Nutcracker Trail

Every Wed, Sat & Sun from 12th November – 24th December 9am-5pm

In this FREE event, follow the Trail Map to find Santa’s 12 Nutcrackers, write each of their names in your booklet and submit it for your chance to win an Apple iPad or many other magical prizes! You can collect your free booklet at the Par Market Events Village.

Santa’s Grotto at Falmouth Firestation

Meet Santa at their Drive-through Christmas Grotto! and receive a small gift.

The drive-through Christmas Grotto is on Saturday 17th December from 4.30-8 pm to see Santa and receive a small gift for all those good Children! Fun for all the family!

This year they are raising money for both the Firefighters Charity and Penryn and Falmouth foodbank. They are asking for cash donations on the arrival at the grotto, change cannot be given so please only bring the amount you wish to donate.

Father Christmas visits The Lost Gardens of Heligan

You and your family will then be welcomed to the exclusive Festive Reserve Yard within The Gardens, where you will start to prepare for your special visit. Here the Team will ensure you get into the Christmas spirit, with music, Christmas crackers, and festive crafts, and don’t forget your complimentary toasted marshmallows to toast over the warming fire. As anticipation builds you will be escorted by The Head elf to meet Father Christmas in the magical cosy setting of the Head Gardeners Office.

Each child will be gifted a small traditional children’s present to remember their visit to Father Christmas by, along with Christmas magic and tradition that reconnects you to the heart and true meaning of Christmas.

After your visit why not venture on to explore The Gardens, meet the Christmas donkeys (From 18th December onwards), and complete the 12 days of Christmas family visual trail. (Available during daytime visits only).

Father Christmas at Truro Cathedral

Father Christmas has hidden his Kernow office somewhere in Truro Cathedral and they need your help to find him. Meet the elves at the Christmas Tree outside the Cathedral! As you walk around the Cathedral, you will hear the stories of James Bubb, the first Clerk of Works of Truro Cathedral in the 1800s. You will also hear the tale of the Cathedral Mouse, who wishes they could sing with the children in the choir.

This Christmas, their dream comes true and you will be able to hear the mouse sing in St Mary’s Chapel. You will then get the chance to meet Father Christmas once his hiding place has been uncovered, where you will be able to tell him all about what you would like for Christmas and you will receive a gift.

Meet Father Christmas at The Eden Project

Meet Father Christmas and his newest helper Elfie this Christmas at Eden.

Elfie is fresh out of Elf Training Camp and ready to get stuck in – but she keeps accidentally causing havoc, instead of helping! Find out how Elfie learns to be brave and ultimately team up with Father Christmas to deliver a Christmas miracle.

Each child will be given the chance to meet Father Christmas and leave with a storybook of Elfie’s adventures, plus a chocolate treat, as part of their Father Christmas experience.

The Father Christmas sessions will be on the following dates:

2nd -24th December 2022

Each session lasts approximately 40 minutes and will start promptly. The time will be stated on your ticket.

*Relaxed sessions on 3, 4, 10, 17 and 21 December, to allow those who may benefit from a more informal experience, such as those with autism and sensory or communication needs, to enjoy the site at their own pace.

Meet Santa & His Reindeer at Gwel an Mor

Santa and his reindeer cannot wait to meet you in his cosy grotto. He will be stopping by Feadon Farm along with some of his elves and of course – his reindeer. There will be lots of photo opportunities with both Santa and the reindeer in their stable and we’ll treat our visitors to a bag of reindeer food to feed them.

They also have a fun craft session prior to meeting Santa including making a Christmas tree decoration and sitting with the elves to make some festive crackers.

Christmas at Trelissick

Father Christmas is back for 2022 telling his festive tales. Father Christmas will be in the stables on Saturday and Sunday 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18 December and then 19 – 23 from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm ( No show on Christmas Eve, Father Christmas will be very busy that day!)

Bookable time slots throughout the day, please see our What’s On section of the website to book tickets. This is a group experience and not a 1:1 with Father Christmas.

Pre-booking for Father Christmas is essential due to limited availability.

Tickets: Child £6, Adult £2 (Normal admission charges apply, free to National Trust members).

Santa by Steam at Bodmin and Wenford Railway

Enjoy a ride aboard a steam train before going to see Santa and receive a gift.

Upon arrival back at Bodmin General, you will have the chance to see Santa and have your photo taken with him, as well as do some Christmas-themed arts and crafts activities.

Each child will receive an age-relevant gift.

Storytime With Santa

Treat yourself to Story Time With Santa.

Write your list to Santa, and have a hot chocolate and cookie with his elves, before listening to Santa read a story.

Afterwards, Santa will walk through the train, collecting everyone’s lists whilst giving every child a copy of his bedtime storybook.

Please be aware that the train will remain in the station for the duration of the event.

Private Santa Experience

Spoil yourself with a private Santa Experience.

Spend the evening with Santa aboard his Victorian carriage. Enjoy a high tea and have the opportunity to tell Santa what you would like for Christmas, as well as have a story read to you.

Arrive at the station at 18:00 to board the Victorian coach at 18:15 where you will spend an hour with Santa and his elves.

Each child will receive a special gift.
